Self-Awareness (Year 2)

In this unit, students build a stronger sense of identity and belonging by exploring individuality, confidence, and connection through music and art. They begin by navigating new social environments and practicing strategies to make meaningful connections. As the unit progresses, students deepen their self-awareness through activities that celebrate uniqueness, explore cultural identity through food, and build confidence by confronting self-doubt. They also strengthen their appreciation for music and storytelling, using songwriting, poetry, and visual art to express who they are and how they relate to the world around them.
