Social Awareness (Year 1)

In this unit, students begin to develop social awareness by exploring judgment, culture, and the power of music to reflect and inspire change. They learn to recognize and respond to judgment, understand how music connects us to history and diverse experiences, and see how individuals and communities can make a positive impact. Through visual art, poetry, and creative projects, students deepen their empathy and celebrate the ways music and collaboration promote justice and belonging.
